NEW HOUSING SCHEME BY CIDCO

The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd., was a necessity and Navi Mumbai- the land of comforts and luxuries – is its invention. In the decade of 1951-61 population of Mumbai rose by 40 per cent and in the corresponding decade it shot up by 43.80 percent. The rapid growth rate of population made possible by the increasing industrial and commercial importance of the city, resulted in a fast deterioration in the quality of life for the majority of people living in the city.

Application forms for the mass housing project at Ulwe by the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) will be available from Wednesday at all railway stations in Navi Mumbai, except Turbhe and Seawoods. The forms, which are priced at Rs50 each, will also be sold at all branches of the Thane Janata Sahakari Bank (TJSB).

Applicants can collect the Application forms in between dates of 7th July 2010 to 8th August 2010 from all the branches of TJSB, Extension Counters, All Centres on Railway Stations, On CIDCO Website www.cidcoindia.com, On TJSB Website www.thanejanata.co.in.

Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy (Telugu: యేడుగురి సందింటి రాజశేఖరరెడ్డి) (8 July 1949 – 2 September 2009), popularly known as YSR, was the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. He was seen as the best Chief Minister of Andhra pradesh due to his work for the rural masses. He was elected to the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Lok Sabha from the Kadapa constituency for four terms and to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly for five terms from the Pulivendula constituency. He also holds the record of not losing any election throughout his political career. In 2003 he undertook a three-month-long paadayaatra, or walking tour, across several districts in Andhra Pradesh. He is the only chief minister of AP to have come back to power after being in office for a full term.

Reddy was married to Vijaya Lakshmi. They have a son, Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, a politician, and a daughter, Sharmila. His younger brother Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy is also an Congress(I) politician

On 2 September 2009, a helicopter carrying Reddy went missing in the Nallamala forest area. On the morning of 3 September 2009, media agencies reported that the helicopter had been found crashed on top of Rudrakonda Hill, 40 nautical miles from Kurnool. This was later confirmed by the Prime Minister’s office and all five people aboard were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Indian Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the helicopter’s crash on the morning of 3 September and the death of all aboard, including Reddy, his special secretary P. Subrahmanyam, chief security officer A. S. C. Wesley, Group Captain S. K. Bhatia and Captain M. S. Reddy.
